The one-year diploma course for managers requires managers with accounts of the HSG and the ELA tuition of around 18,000 euros (27,000 Swiss francs) in addition to the time spent. Twelve teaching modules in 300 hours to 33 days in St. Gallen and at the Fraunhofer IML in Dortmund cover important aspects of logistics management practice. Practical experience, including three years in management positions, and a passing assessment process are the prerequisite for admission to five years. The course has been certified by end of March 2009 from the Swiss National Certification Board for logistics.
